Are you skilled in managing project costs, schedules, and financial analyses? We are looking for a highly organized and detail-driven Project Controls Cost Analyst to join our Aerospace client's team in Madison, MS. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining cost control systems, preparing budgets, performing in-depth financial analyses, and ensuring projects stay on track with contractual and government guidelines. You'll also play a key role in assessing risks, managing expenditures, and adapting to changing contract requirements. Responsibilities

  • Cost and Schedule Monitoring: Set up and maintain a cost control system, ensuring costs and schedules on contracts comply with agreed-upon parameters and government guidelines.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform financial analyses, including variance analysis, funding profiles, and sales outlooks, and prepare detailed reports to keep the program within budget and on schedule.
  • Budget and Schedule Preparation: Develop and manage program budgets and schedules to ensure alignment with program requirements and statements of work.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential cost and scheduling risks, ensuring the program stays on track.
  • Expenditure Management and Contractual Changes: Maintain accurate records of expenditures, manage funding requests, and incorporate contractual changes to ensure that contract costs and schedules remain realistic.
