The Vendor Manager works as a liaison between vendors and the Medicare Advantage line of business within the organization. The Vendor Manager will manage
all aspects of vendor activity, including but not limited to vendor compliance, engagement, oversight, and performance.
Responsibilities:
Reviews and negotiates terms of vendor contracts and communicates with vendors regarding day-to-day matters.
Responsible for onboarding of new vendors from requirements gathering to go live and post go live.
Works with internal stakeholders during onboarding phase to ensure successful launch.
Builds and maintains positive relationship with vendors and monitor vendor performance.
Evaluates ongoing relationship and contract changes needed prior to term date. Ensures key stakeholders are kept abreast of vendor relationship changes and or potential impacts to vendor relationships.
Responsible for working with vendors for key deliverables including member materials generation.
Research invoice and contractual issues and resolves discrepancies.
Develop correction action and quality improvement plans for standards that are not met by vendors.
Conduct monthly meetings document, discuss and resolve issues as well as monitor completion of action items.
Leads the onboarding and transition of new vendors.
Monitor compliance with all contractual requirements, vendor performance and reporting.
Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated as a guiding principle
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required or the equivalent combination of training and experience, plus 2-5 years of related experience.
Vendor Performance Management measurement experience
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage
Ability to develop projects, guide them to completion, while working with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner.
Demonstrate Mass General Brigham Health Plans core brand principles of always listening, challenging conventions, and providing value.
Bring fresh ideas forward by listening to and working with employees and the people we serve.

Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience, strong executive presence, presentation, and communication skills. Strong verbal, active listening, and written communication skills required.
Ability to view the long-range trends and cycles of the business and industry and see the big picture.
Ability to apply a variety of strategic frameworks to analyze problems and to guide and develop solutions.
