Position Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist at Terrabis will be responsible for managing the Learning Management System (LMS), developing new training courses and materials, and delivering in-person training programs to employees. The ideal candidate for this role should be passionate about cannabis and have a strong interest in training and employee development. This person will report directly to the Learning and Development Manager. This is a hybrid role with expectations of WFH on Monday & Friday and onsite Tuesday - Thursday.

Responsibilities

Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure that all employee training records are up-to-date and accurate. Develop new training courses and materials to meet the needs of the company. Deliver in-person training programs to employees at all retail locations. Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop training programs that are engaging and effective. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement. Continuously update and improve training materials based on feedback from employees and management. Assist with the coordination of training events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cannabis training and employee development. Coordinate and host vendor training sessions to educate teams on products we carry. Additional duties as needed.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in training coordination or related role Passion for cannabis and employee development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred Ability to deliver engaging and effective training programs in-person Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to onsite to our retail locations in both St. Louis, MO, Springfield, MO, Grayville, IL, Plainfield, IL, and other locations as needed.
