Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning System Specialist to join their Learning & Development team to manage the administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of their Learning Management System (LMS) – Docebo. This is a hybrid role in Chicago, 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years experience as an LMS Administrator.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the L&D team to develop and maintain a comprehensive strategy for utilizing LMS capabilities to enhance learning and development across all offices.


LMS Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Docebo LMS, including group creation, course assignments, and compliance-related uploads.
  • Ensure the LMS is configured to meet the organization's needs.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Implement and optimize features such as Discover, Coach & Share, channels, and catalogs.


Curating and Managing Learning Content:

  • Manage Go1 content integration and curate learning materials that align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and create learning paths and curriculums based on job roles and skill requirements.


User Analysis and Engagement:

  • Generate reports on LMS usage, learner progress, and content effectiveness based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Analyze LMS activity and provide actionable insights.
  • Create and manage user groups, roles, and permissions on the backend.
  • Provide technical support to global LMS users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.



Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator, preferably with Docebo.
  • Strong understanding of LMS features such as Discover, Coach & Share, channels, and catalogs.
  • Experience managing skills and tags within an LMS to enhance search and recommendation functionalities.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, AICC/SCORM standards, and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and demands.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
