We are seeking an enthusiastic and solutions-oriented go-getter to join the Marketing team as an Event Planner. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and will gain significant exposure to projects across the spectrum. Projects include, but are not limited to, event coordination and management, developing event marketing campaigns, assistance with programming the event, and on site assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude, be detail-oriented, and have excellent project management and execution skills.

**Responsibilities**

* Understand the technical needs of virtual or live streaming events (use of platforms as On24 zoom, skype, slido, etc.)

* Collaborate with the in-house AV Team providing creative solutions and support with hybrid and virtual event production

* Liaison between meeting stakeholders, vendors, registration, procurement, and operations teams

* Assist with sourcing appropriate venues on behalf of meeting stakeholders to capture vision and objective of event while also meeting budget, size and location/date requirements

* Coordinate customized gift orders along with processing orders from a variety of vendors

* Responsible for preparing event handout materials, ordering signage/department supplies, and other event related tasks

* On-site support at in-house and off-site events which many include badge creation, bag stuffing, registration, preparation and more

* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure collaboration for events which may include: working with the design team to create invitations, ensure prep calls are accurately set with speakers, work with sales or product teams to identify accurate lists for event, send follow-ups to attendees, create analytic reports to showcase results of event

* Work cross-functionally with Legal & Compliance and external partners for approvals on creative assets

* Strategize with senior marketing leaders to improve current processes

* Help manage CAIS brand to ensure guidelines are applied and used consistently across the firm

* Represent CAIS Marketing team in external and internal conversations pertaining to events and strategic campaigns

* Additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest

**Qualifications**

* 3+ years professional experience, preferably in a marketing role

* Bachelors degree in English, marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related discipline preferred

* Exceptional attention-to-detail, highly organized

* Excellent project management, prioritization, and decision-making skills

* Exceptional intra-personal skills with a natural ability to work collaboratively and build relationships

* Proficiency in Excel and strong reporting and analytics skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of financial services and how to apply it to CAIS specific segment of the industry
