Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans. **About the Corrosion Engineering Co-Op Position** As a Corrosion Engineering Co-Op at Colonial Pipeline, this opportunity allows you to combine your classroom knowledge with meaningful work experience. We offer opportunities across Corporate and Operations designed to complement your formal education with work experience directly related to your academic major. As an integral part of the overall education experience, the Co-Op program allows you to take on increasing levels of responsibility with each rotation. **Please note Colonial Pipeline is currently seeking students for our fall co-op opportunities. Students for these opportunities should be graduating in Spring of 2026 or later.** **About Corrosion Engineering** Corrosion Prevention is responsible for maintaining the systems for preventing corrosion on the pipeline systems inclusive of line pipe, facility piping, and tanks. The Team provides oversight of various design, installation, testing, maintenance, and monitoring of the cathodic protection systems. The team maintains compliance with all regulatory corrosion prevention requirements contained within 49 CFR Part 195 along with applying appropriate AMPP and other industry standards and best practices. **What You Bring to the Table:** + Majoring in Corrosion Engineering or a related degree program from an accredited college or university. + Ability to analyze process performance and develop goals to minimize process variances. + Strong mathematical skills to break down complex problems. + Technical aptitude with a hands-on mindset. + Ability to organize tasks and prioritize workload. + Strong attention to detail. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Software proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. + Flexibility to travel on occasion. + Have a good attitude about being part of a diversified, multi-cultural team environment. + Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments. + Self-motivated, have a phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth. **Advantages of Working at Colonial Pipeline Company:** Prosperity, Health, Wellness, and Happiness – Check out Colonial’s Total Rewards (olpipe.com/careers/benefits-and-total-rewards) .
