PRIMARY DUTIES: All candidates will perform the following duties: Gather and organize financial data from all accounting departments. Compile and analyze financial reports to ensure their accuracy. Manage the general ledger and devote time to risk management, especially with regard to accounts receivable. Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions so the government understands all costs. Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases. SKILLS REQUIRED: All candidates will have the following minimum skills: Six (6) years of recent specialized experience in finance. Results-oriented and process-driven. Impeccable attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork. Work well independently or as a member of a team environment Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Preferred Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, OR Associates degree plus ten (10) years of recent specialized experience, OR fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.
