Pest Control Technician

Description The Bug Master is a rapidly growing pest control company headquartered in Austin, TX. We have additional locations in Temple, Houston, and San Marcos. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service experience in the industry, and we are interested in adding team members who would look forward to delivering that standard

As a pest control technician you'll be working largely independently. You'll travel in a company provided vehicle to client locations to provide pest control services and resolve pest issues. We service residential, commercial and apartments.

As a pest control technician you will take your company vehicle home and start and end at your home.

**Job Requirements for a Pest Control Technician**

Travel throughout the community (BugMaster service area) 67 100 % of the time to service customers

Constant utilization of the telephone including the Company issued cell phone.

Requires constant sitting for long periods of time. (when driving)

Requires constant mental alertness.

Requires frequent walking. (34 66 %)

Requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.

Requires frequent ability to lift up to 50 #s.

Must possess the ability to climb heights using ladders.

Must be able to work on roofs.

Must be able to endure high levels of noise.

Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Requires the ability to operate a vehicle and other mechanical equipment.

Daily work is performed in heated/air conditioned facilities and outdoors with exposure to all elements for extended periods of time.

Work is performed using many variations of chemicals including but not limited to the

following: Liquids, Baits, Aerosols, Dusts, Traps, and industry equipment.

Typical Working Conditions, all eligible candidates must:

Possess the ability to communicate clearly and learn technical, industry related data pertaining to pest control and safety standards.

Display a positive demeanor and ability to interact with others in a pleasing, professional way.

Have a clean-cut image, sense of pride, integrity, attention to detail, and organizational ability.

* Possess a valid drivers license and meet company driving standards.

Previous experience in a position working with his or her hands and performing laborious and strenuous work is required. Previous experience in a position requiring high quality work and promoting customer service is required. Ability to project friendly, warm, helpful, and professional demeanor required.
