POSITION OVERVIEW We seek a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead our efforts in expanding business within the marketing/enrollment sector at Vertex Education The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and enrollment related to acquiring new clients nationwide. This role involves building strong relationships with schools, serving as the marketing expert throughout the client journey, from pitch to onboarding, budgeting, and executing digital and traditional marketing campaigns. The candidate should demonstrate strategic thinking, a successful business development background, a deep knowledge of education marketing, and effective team management skills.

This role should also support the marketing of Vertex Education as a leading provider of support services to schools nationwide.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Growth: Collaborate with the partnerships team to craft comprehensive client proposals, serving as the marketing/enrollment subject matter expert. Build out and oversee a team that will assist with new and existing business, focusing on customer retention through exceptional service and contract renewals. Develop tailored proposals and pricing strategies for each school, working closely with the finance department for contract renewals. Maintain up-to-date product and industry insights to articulate value propositions to potential clients effectively. Attend school conferences to present marketing services to potential clients.

Client Relations Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within partnered schools. Act as the primary client liaison, promptly addressing concerns and ensuring our services' satisfaction. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and deliver customized solutions. Proactively resolve client pain points to ensure high satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships. Aim for a 90% client retention rate and achieve an NPS of 50 for school clients post-engagement.

Vertex Education Marketing: Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Brand & Marketing and other key stakeholders to elevate Vertex Education's brand awareness as a premier national provider of school support services. Develop and execute integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns to showcase Vertex Education in prominent publications and across key social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook), and Instagram. Lead efforts to optimize the company website and messaging, working with department leads to create engaging webinars, compelling case studies, and other impactful deliverables that resonate with our target audience.

Daily Operations: Monitor and oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless deployment and implementation of marketing services (website, social media, etc.). Support client enrollment goals through targeted marketing strategies. Work closely with the team to deliver exceptional results to clients. Monitor and manage marketing campaigns, deployment, and implementation of marketing services. Coordinate with freelancers when necessary, particularly in areas such as website development, to enhance project outcomes. Conduct site visits and engage in hands-on activities as necessary.

Management: Lead and refine the team dedicated to new school clients, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Brand and Marketing, and Chief Marketing Officer. Inspire and guide the marketing team to achieve high performance and client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education, Certifications, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. 5+ years of marketing experience in a supervisory role in the education industry. Strong understanding of the charter school landscape and related regulations is preferred. Excellent communication and proposal skills. Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

BACKGROUND CHECKS: The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check. Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: Travel to schools (local, regional, and national) is required. Duties may include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required. Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; to enter data into a computer keyboard; to research identified job-related duties using the Internet and other resources; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
