We have an entry-level professional opportunity for a Loss Control Specialist.

This position will work in Maine.

The Loss Control Specialist will survey an assigned list of light to moderate hazard properties, including habitational, offices, stores, and restaurants. Upon successfully completing training, each Loss Control Specialist will work independently under the supervision of a Loss Control Supervisor.

All Loss Control staff at The Andover Companies work in an assigned area, and on occasion, will be asked to travel to other territories to work as workloads dictate. Loss Control Specialists will be provided with a laptop, cell phone, and training materials. With the successful completion of training, a company car will also be provided.

Requirements:

Valid US Driver's license Excellent Communication Skills Good knowledge of computers and other electronic devices, including Microsoft office products Ability to work in an autonomous environment which includes managing own workload effectively, working independently, making sound decisions based on training and achieved skills Organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to climb stairs and ladders, walk through both interior and exterior of buildings, work in all types of weather conditions A background in Fire Safety, Safety, Construction, Electrical, Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Fire Suppression, Fire Alarms, or similar experience is desired
