We're currently seeking a Inventory Control Specialist for a leading food manufacturing in Montgomery, IL. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring parts are accounted for and communicating with the Maintenance team on what parts are needed to ensure that there are always parts in stock to run our business.

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related work experience.
    • Related job titles (Not limited to): Parts Room Clerk, Parts Room Coordinator, Parts Room Specialist, Inventory Control Clerk, Inventory Control Specialist, Inventory Control Coordinator.
    • Also, related roles where you need to do inventory cycle counts within a manufacturing environment works.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably food.
  • MRP/ERP System experience
  • Experience with a CMMS or WMS system- MQ1- AX- MVP is preferred
  • Experience handling inventory cycle counts

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts, and recording the location, conducting perpetual bin audits, and maintain special order bins.
  • Warehouse/Stockroom Inventory Cycle Counts
  • Work with various departments on special project requests/needs including any materials needed for test products or materials.
  • Involvement in monthly inventory process including making system adjustments.
  • In performing day-to-day, routine tasks, follows established guidelines.
  • Parts receiving, labeling, and putting away stock orders.
  • Tracking and coordinating returns of parts defects and mis-ships
