The Sourcing Specialist is part of the Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) & Capital sourcing team which manages the sourcing needs for a group of business/function category teams or on a project basis. Negotiate spot purchases for capital projects implement contracts and manage related work processes typically on large international capital projects Creates value by providing appropriate input into the development and implementation of sourcing strategies as well as for the implementation of commercial agreements and spot purchase orders. Interface with the materials coordinators and project procurement leads and coordinators to ensure approved supply strategies standard work processes and proper spend delegation of authority are used Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree 5 + years industrial experience Exposure with dynamic results oriented Engineering Procurement Construction Management teams across Petrochemical and/or Oil and Gas industries
