Credit Karma is looking for a resourceful, tenacious and thoughtful Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our world class People team, as we continue to scale all things for our UK Karmanauts and lead UK HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing employee experience.

What youll do:

Act as the key, dedicated Human Resource point of contact for our UK Teams, and be a trusted advisor to a highly engaged, supported workforce

Advise people managers on people-related strategy and decisions aligned with business goals (including organizational design, planning, employee relations)

Maintain ongoing rhythm of people programs working with clients through performance management, talent planning and recognition programs

Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for supportive tools

Maintain ongoing compensation administration, and total compensation analysis to support meaningful rewards strategy for talented Karmanauts

Innovate on established practices and procedures, collaborate with small teams and/or co-lead various projects targeting improved employee experience at Credit Karma

Partner with leadership on all things people - review and generate data, conduct analysis and provide insights, thought partnership and recommendations real business partnering

What we are looking for:

A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; or equivalent experience

7+ years of related experience in a fully-functional HR Business Partner role; ideally in a rapidly growing, high-demand, high-output role

Strong knowledge of current UK employment legislation

Strong technical/ analytical skills with an ability to manipulate data in Excel to influence the right outcomes for the business

Demonstrated success in autonomously driving projects forward successfully to completion

Strong desire to help others and intellectual curiosity about people and organization issues

Effective influencer skilled in listening and communicating clearly & concisely

Ability to distill moderate to complex problems into digestible pieces with recommended paths forward for both business partners and team members

Excellent problem solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently

Comfortable operating in a dynamic, changing environment with a high degree of ambiguity, sensitivity, and confidentiality

Ability to create and maintain strong, professional relationships at various leadership levels; while consistently maintaining an objective, respectful, and balanced perspective for all parties especially when faced with obstacles and differing opinions

Skilled in effectively managing sensitive and confidential communications and materials, exercising judgment around containment and proper protocol

Proactively reflects and takes accountability for how actions impact outcomes.

Consistently orients towards sharing and receiving constructive feedback as a marquee behavior in our continuous growth and perspectives culture.

Motivates others by creating a climate (leading by example) in which people strive to do their best. Sought out as a mentor and coach due to their diverse set of experiences and wealth of knowledge

Knowledgeable in state (CA, NC, & SC) and federal employment laws

What we would like to see:

Masters degree in Human Resource management or related field is preferred

PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred

Previous HRBP alignment to Engineering or Technology Organizations
