We are searching for a Senior Program Management Analyst/Subject Matter Expert to support The Presidential Helicopters Program (PMA-274) modernization Integrated Product Team in Patuxent River, Maryland.

Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.

Responsibilities include:
  • Apply expertise to support program development, project execution, business and technical operations, strategic initiatives, workforce development, or as required to support technical and organizational tasks
  • Provides expertise and recommendations on risk management and mitigation
  • Prepares technical papers and acquisition documents
  • Provides executive guidance in the development and alignment of PMA processes and policies.
Required Education: Master's Degree or allowable substitutions. Allowable substitutions include one of the following:
  • A Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category
  • An Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category
  • Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree
Required Experience: More than ten years of experience is required for this position.

Desired Experience Includes:
  • Experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed in the functional description above.
  • Experience working with industry and government executive-level personnel.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to management, operations, and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with NAVAIR Aircraft platform programs preferably at the PEO, PM or PDPM level

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
