About Rochester Concrete Products: Rochester Concrete Products is a third-generation, family-owned business based in Rochester, MN. RCP manufactures concrete products such as pavers, retaining walls and outdoor living kits (fireplaces, bars, tables) for the hardscape industry. RCP plays a critical role in allowing landscape designers and contractors to help homeowners create their own backyard oasis.

Overview: Rochester Concrete Products is looking for a proactive, energetic and growth-minded Marketing Coordinator to enhance our marketing initiatives across all our brands. This role will provide a diverse set of experiences and opportunities across multiple marketing functions. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple marketing activities. We are looking for someone who wants to take on new challenges and grow in this role. This role requires excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, great communication skills and the ability to work closely with management, sales, and marketing teams to drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Sales Support: Fulfill literature and marketing asset requests from representatives, ensuring they have the necessary tools to engage customers effectively. Maintain and manage inventory of sales support materials, ensuring they are current and accurate, and oversee the creation of new materials as needed.
  • Social Media: Assist in planning and executing our social media strategy to enhance brand presence and engagement across various platforms.
  • Asset Creation: Design and develop basic print and digital assets to promote events, training, and other promotional activities.
  • Trade Show and Event Support: Support and manage trade show efforts across all brands, including coordination with key associations and vendors. Assist in planning and coordinating meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows, handling everything from identifying requirements to developing schedules and coordinating execution.
  • CRM Maintenance: Help keep the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system updated with accurate and current information.
  • Lead Management: Serve as primary phone support and online lead management resource.
  • Sales and Presentation Support: Provide support in developing presentations and other sales tools to facilitate effective communication of product benefits and features.
  • Data Management: Regularly update and provide insights on key projects, maintaining relevant data to support strategic decisions.
  • Internal Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication with the sales teams to guarantee consistent and efficient execution.
  • Other Administrative Tasks: Support overall business by performing other administrative tasks such as mail management, printing & scanning, etc as needed by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Some experience in Marketing preferred.
  • Strong command of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing software like CRM systems and Adobe Creative Suite, Canva etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
