The Assembly Operator (Kitchens) isresponsible for efficiently preparing and packing cabinets, ensuring theirquality meets our high standards. This involves precise drilling, fittinghinges, and preparing drawers for quick assembly. The operator manages theworkflow to optimize production line efficiency, adhering to schedules andprioritizing urgent orders. They ensure cabinets are perfectly square, doorsand drawers are evenly fitted, mechanisms function smoothly, and fasciae areflawless. The role is crucial for our quality management, ensuring products arebuilt and dressed to delight our customers. Continuous liaison with otherdepartments and thorough inspection of components for any imperfections areintegral to this position, always following safety protocols and maintainingequipment. Responsibilities:

The General Operator (Assembly) will work within a team on multiple production lines. The production lines produce fully finished cabinets from internally produced pre-drilled panels through to fully packaged ready for delivery. The role is to operate within strict quality control tolerances to meet the high quality we pride ourselves in as a business. As an Assembly Operator (Dressing) requires you to: Build, dress, and pack cabinets in accordance with quality standards and production priorities. Complete and report daily on performance metrics, focusing on maximizing machine uptime and quality output. Read and understand drawings and measure the products to ensure they meet requirements. Have a good understanding of quality standards and how to rectify any issues that may arise. Work within a team to achieve set targets. Assembly Operator will work as part of the team to ensure the highest safety, quality and performance levels are achieved daily and will report to their team leader. Completing documentation throughout the process. Close collaboration with the production management team and other departments to ensure timely and quality completion of cabinets. Participation in training and skill development for a multi-skilled workforce. Achieve the company's service objective of providing customer satisfaction. Autonomous maintenance to support the up time of all equipment. General Tasks: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring waste disposal and benchtop cleanliness. Assist with pre-assembly, drilling, and boring as needed. Prioritize tasks based on the dressing conveyor's occupancy and the urgency of remedial jobs. Contribute to continuous improvement by assisting in data gathering and strategy implementation for business advancement. Essential Skills and Experience:

Good understanding of health and safety and be comfortable working in a team to meet and achieve both quality and performance driven targets. Numerate The ability to prioritise workload.
