Who We're Looking For:
As a key member of the Global Events team, the Events Coordinator's principal responsibility is to support the execution of global and international events initiated by the commercial department. In this specialist role you will be focused on supporting the management and coordination of Laborie's internal and external events, including conferences and tradeshows, sales meetings and distributor meetings. The Events Coordinator will report to the Global Events Manager.
About the Role:
- Support internal and external events and collaborate with Events Managers including congresses and tradeshows, sales meetings and distributor meetings by liaising with sales, marketing and education teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor form submissions for new regional and local shows and manage the events inbox to ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
- Create and manage event registration websites, sending invitations and managing RSVP's while coordinating venue and room block proposals with Travel One.
- Track invoice costs in comparison to budgets, allowing a full overview of actual spend vs budgets to be reported regularly.
- Coordinate shipping orders and keep track of inventory of third-party logistics providers in the US and international, including brochures, samples and promotional items, replenishing when required.
- 4-year college degree (B.S./B.A.) required in events, marketing or related field or at least 2 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience in executing events.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and excellent administrative skills.
- English language proficiency (written and verbal) required.
