Working in a factory setting with a multi-disciplined team. Supporting shop floor operators in a variety of build processes, acquiring feedback, and resolving work stoppages through hardware support, continuous improvement initiatives, defect disposition, and root cause analysis. Performs training of supervisors, other engineers, and shop floor personnel in manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and/or requirement specification documents, and define manufacturing steps to meet all requirements. Conceptualize assembly using mechanical aptitudes (understanding material properties, heat transfer, and structural properties).
