Join us in this significant role to build a diverse and engaged workforce Position Overview: The Transportation Finance Analyst will assist the TransFinance Customer Invoicing & Reporting Team in reporting, financial analysis, and driving continuous process improvement across the Transportation network. This position collaborates closely with Carrier Management, IT, Brokerage, and Transportation Operations teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the TransFinance Managers in customer and carrier invoicing/audit and provide monthly reporting and analysis to both internal and external customers. Ensure compliance of customer invoicing with current contractual agreements. Identify root causes for recurring system issues and develop/implement solutions. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset regarding the quality and efficiency of the customer invoicing function. Communicate regularly with customers to ensure timely issuance of invoices and resolution of disputes. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation. Complete monthly customer financial results and variance analysis. Assist in completing company and customer budgets and forecasts. Escalate financial issues to management and recommend strategies for improvement. Provide leadership and mentoring for TransFinance Coordinators. Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 2-3 years of financial analysis experience preferred. Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, and MercuryGate TMS beneficial. Additional duties as assigned.
