Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering or Science
+ 9+ years experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting
+ NJ PE required
+ Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements
+ Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists
Job Responsibilities:
+ Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to: planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design and remedial operations ,
+ Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
+ Complete and review planning documents and design calculations
+ Assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications
+ Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during the projects
+ Provide technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction
+ Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region
+ Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services
+ Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm
+ Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services
+ Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
+ C oordination and presentation of design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies
