Log in or register to view more details about this job.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District has an exciting career opportunity for an entry-level environmental/civil engineer or biologist/natural resources recent or upcoming college graduate to join our Regulatory Program, located in Nashville, Tennessee.The USACE Regulatory Program is committed to protecting the Nation's aquatic resources, while allowing reasonable development through fair, flexible, and balanced permit decisions.The selected individual will specialize in the review of highway infrastructure projects, and associated impacts to aquatic resources.Typical duties include performing and reviewing stream and wetland assessments, stream surveys, delineation of wetland and stream boundaries, stream and wetland restoration designs, and review of applications for highway projects.Much of your time will be spent outdoors in a field environment. This is a great opportunity to begin a civilian career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Department of Defense.This will be a developmental position; upon completion of program requirements, this position may be non-competitively promoted to the GS-11 pay grade (currently $69,107 to $89,835 annually).#J-18808-Ljbffr
