The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise across disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, welding, and machining, along with proficiency in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required Responsibilities Plan tooling fabrication work orders, identifying proper fabrication methods, materials, required tools, and resources. This includes reading schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Make field walk downs and determine appropriate job work scopes. Develop work plans for maintenance jobs with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling, assignment, and execution of maintenance work. Define job requirements for labor hours, parts, materials, tools, craft, safety permits, and PPE to ensure a safe, effective, and efficient job plan. Coordinate tasks with contractors, third party services, and internal customers. Coordinate with inventory specialist to ensure required parts, tools, and materials are ordered, received, and kitted. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan maintenance andfabrication activities. Prepare reports as required and lead planning meetings. Evaluate job feedback from technicians to constantly improve plans for future work. Qualifications: Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space Mechanical, machining, welding experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment. Proficient with CAD software. Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning. Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Preferred, knowledge on Maintenance and Reliability. Basic knowledge on inventory processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge and experience with a CMMS (Maximo preferred). Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
