Job Description

General Summary:
COLSA is seeking an entry level Cyber Operations analyst to support the CIO G6 for the DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) contract.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and standards compliant with DoD and Army regulatory requirements. *
  • Provides basic support for testing, investigations, and maintenance of system accreditation.*
  • Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.*
  • Assists in conducting basic audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans and best practices. *
  • Provides routine support of program control processes and accreditation of systems.*
  • Performs basic analyses to validate established security requirements and may recommend additional security *
  • Assist in periodic distribution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to pertinent CIO G6 staff *
  • Work with service desk personnel on performing user account validation and verification. *

Required Experience

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in technical field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
  • Previous IT and customer service and operations experience
  • Must be able to achieve CompTIA Security+ within 60 days of hire.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Secret DoD clearance; US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference may be given to those currently at risk due to funding loss.
