This is a remote position with potential travel into our main office in New York or the FreedomCare hub closest to you for meetings and/or collaboration.

Working closely with clients, caregivers and departments across the business, your goal will be to provide a seamless Customer Service experience, while ensuring that our clients are receiving the care they need. We value your can-do positive attitude and desire to turn a negative into a positive. You will receive excellent in-house training which will help you develop a thorough understanding of our program. We will nurture your talent and provide continued career development opportunities, from your induction and throughout your career with us.

Every Day You Will:

Your job will be to ensure that all insurance authorizations are being processed properly whether they're for new patients or for continuation of coverage. You will also be a part of our Welcome Team which discusses necessary information with the clients that come on board to ensure their success.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
  • Proven Exceptional Customer Service
  • Excellent written, and verbal skills
  • Proficient computer, phone knowledge
  • Must be extremely organized and have excellent attention to detail
  • Must have poise and patience when dealing with customers
  • Previous insurance authorization experience preferred
  • 2 years of previous experience in a similar position preferred
  • Previous medical field experience a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish, or other languages desired

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $19.00 and $24.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
