The role of the Associate Manager, Sportsbook Promotions is to manage all daily or recurring headline retention promotions for all labels across a fast-growing network of web and mobile platforms. Key responsibilities include managing our day-to-day strategy, creative direction & execution of all promotions. Additionally, the Associate Manager, Sportsbook Promotions, will monitor and check all platforms, ensuring all promotional content is accurate and relevant. This person will have complete ownership from a project management perspective of tools used to manage campaigns. The applicant must be deadline driven and thrive under pressure. The applicant should be organized and have experience with project management and UAT. The Associate Manager, Sportsbook Promotions reports to the Senior Manager, Sportsbook Promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the promotional strategy across all 20+ BetMGM US labels, including strategy of offers, approvals on all copy and creative assets, and executing promotion in an efficient and timely matter

  • Manage national schedule of promotions across 20+ BetMGM US labels every month a from a headline (retention) perspective

  • Own project management tools like AirTable that the entire marketing team will use for campaign management

  • Analyze effectiveness of headline retention promotions in partnership with BI team, Trading and Commercial Manager

  • Schedules all daily content as per promotional calendar, working with both marketing operations & content management team

  • Quality checks all platforms to ensure all links, images and content are correct

  • Maintain a technical understanding of all headline promotions - including backend operations and qualification for customers

  • Serves as a liaison between all internal teams such as marketing, product, compliance, and trading

  • Leads response with Incident team if headline promotions experience issues or technical problems

  • Remains actively engaged with UAT for new market launches

  • Maintains excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to deliver on time

  • Liaison between Legal and Compliance teams with subject matter expertise on proper Legal, Compliance processes

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of marketing/promotional experience essential; ideally gained with an online gaming or sports book, DFS operator or similar industry

  • Possesses superb communication, organizational, operational, teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Possesses strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to use a range of data insights & sources to provide attention-grabbing findings and recommendations

  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of sportsbook competitive landscape, particularly around promotional offerings/capabilities, market offerings and reinvestment strategies

  • Has a proven history of delivering projects against deadlines

  • Has an ability to multi-task while dealing with a multitude of departments and people

  • Shows a proven track record of working with cross functional teams

  • Shows passion for the sportsbook industry through strong project execution

  • Has strong time management skills, work ethic, and attention to detail

  • Able to write, read, speak, and understand English fluently

  • High school or equivalent required; B.S. strongly preferred

The annual salary range for this position is $81,200.00 to $108,000.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
