What you will be doing As our Customer Service Representative, you will be supporting sales by performing tasks necessary to achieve high customer satisfaction and generate revenue. Specifically, this will include: Facilitating sales and shipments by entering orders, obtaining freight quotations, making freight arrangements, and printing shipping documents; Promptly addressing customer requests and questions to ensure customer satisfaction; Serving as the liaison between the customer and various internal departments for efficient communication; Monitoring consignment sites and working with customers on reconciliations; Invoicing; and Other duties as needed. As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, you should have: A high school diploma or equivalent; At least two years’ experience in a customer service field related to distribution, manufacturing, or shipping; International shipment experience (preferred); Strong PC skills with the ability to learn new software quickly; Excellent organizational skills; and Strong attention to detail. Additional Information This is a full-time day shift position at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility. The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required. We offer an excellent benefits package, including health insurance options, vision insurance, dental insurance, company paid life insurance and short/long term disability insurance, voluntary critical illness and accident insurance, and a 401K Plan with employer matching and profit-sharing eligibility.
