Job Summary:A Construction Manager at Local Bounti is responsible for implementing the construction, commissioning, and project closeout phases of a development project with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining project controls and completing projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Construction Manager must have demonstrated skills in negotiating, be a self-starter, and be a critical thinker with an intense focus on delivering results against high standards, directing the work of subcontractors, developing strong working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other related parties, solutions orientated problem solver. This requires a thorough understanding of the Local Bounti investment parameters, resource allocation, and cross departmental leveraging. The Construction Manager will report to the VP of Construction. The Construction Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships in the construction community to provide intelligence.The Construction Manager will typically manage multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to work in a fast paced, multi task environment, balancing competing priorities and multiple project assignments. They are tasked with managing as a General Contractor and Owners Representative. Duties/Responsibilities:Facilitate the development of cost estimates including conceptual estimates prior to design as well as detailed time and materials estimates from design documents.Accountable for delivering projects including but not limited to, vendor management, budgets, schedules, communication both internally and external.Prepare monthly forecast to complete and projected cash flowFacilitate the development master schedules based on scope, location, and business needsResponsible for coordinating multiple groups both internal and external.
