Job Summary: As a IT Manufacturing Analyst, you will be the on-site IT team lead and will work independently on installation, troubleshooting and support of commonly deployed manufacturing and office software within the Caterpillar IT, BCP Division, Athens, GA manufacturing facility. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills, assisting in the support of IT Manufacturing Solutions that enable Caterpillar success. Further, you will contribute real value by developing, integrating, and/or supporting in-house and purchased applications or infrastructure solutions to solve critical business requirements and leading a team to assist resolving problems as a liaison with 1st / 2nd line support Help Center. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of technical knowledge, intellectual curiosity, a drive to solve complex problems, strong working knowledge of integration or Cloud-centric technology, a high degree of initiative and strategic thinking with the willingness to consistently produce and deliver high quality deliverables. Candidate must have excellent communication skills in both the verbal and written dimensions. What You Will Do: Lead a team of IT professionals in working directly on manufacturing applications / technical problem identification, support, and resolution, with the potential random off-shift and weekend support functions including, but not limited to: Pinpoint, Serv-I-Quip DeviceWise VMC Test Manager Security Suite Software ServiceNow PSPS SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME) Systems Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support of critical business requirements. Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM Incident, Problem, and Change processes Organizational, prioritization and structured fault-finding skills Documentation Skills (process & procedure generation in MSOffice tools) Comfortable in a production (fabrications and assembly) environment Ability to work under pressure and manage dynamic workload priorities Desire to continually learn and evolve within a fast-moving IT environment Ability to lead a team and train others Proven time management and organizational skills Good client management and interpersonal skills, self-starter, and valued team player Ability to work with and communicate effectively across divisional boundaries What You Have: Strong IT experience (manufacturing application support and/or infrastructure support) with systems support experience and knowledge of: Manufacturing Execution Systems such as: SAP ME SAP Global Teamcenter Manufacturing Working knowledge of ServiceNow tool suite for recording all incidents and requests, problems, and changes.
