Our clients include food manufacturers and distributors, restaurants and retailers, other foodservice organizations, and various institutions aligned with the food industry.

Job Description

The Senior Manager of Research & Industry Insights position will deliver superior oversight of a new syndicated program. You will become the subject matter expert of a tool that explores foodservice operator purchase data for category market sizing and forecasting. This means staying in the know of important data trends and shifts, contributing to maintaining data quality, handling internal and external program share outs, creating program support deliverables and collaborating with other internal team members such as marketing, account management and other key stakeholders. You will also track core product performance and strategize ways to grow.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate project management and leadership skills by delivering projects on time and maintaining high internal and external customer satisfaction from start to finish Ensure that both the program deliverables and client communications are on track and all project details are addressed throughout all project phases Write content that includes data analysis, insights and recommended actions Alert management of issues while making recommendations for suitable and creative solutions Respond appropriately to staff and client questions and requests in a timely manner Lead innovation for your program, including conducting an annual brainstorming session with internal stakeholders Provide feedback and recommendations for continued improvement of your program Serve as the primary champion of your program, tracking program performance, presenting key performance indicators to company leadership and working with sales, account management and marketing on market strategy Remain knowledgeable of foodservice industry macro trends

Qualifications

5+ years of market research experience Demonstrated experience leading projects with success staying on time and with a high level of quality Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally (including with both senior and junior staff), to achieve Technomic’s program goals Competency to resolve problems, prioritize and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness Exhibits stellar multitasking, organization and communication (written and verbal) skills, quality of task execution Dependable, highly motivated, collaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of business acumen Competency with Microsoft office tool and an ability to take an additional technology platform as needed Presentation and analytical skills Advanced level using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; PowerPivot experience a plus Bachelor’s degree or above in business, social science, market research, or related field Interest in the food service industry is preferred
