Responsibilities Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental principles of tax laws for businesses and individuals. Effectively applies tax knowledge to individual returns and business returns. Exhibits a desire to understand business transactions and related issues. Utilizes research tools to research topics and provide support for various tax topics. Prepares and reviews individual and business tax returns on a timely and efficient basis. Prepares completed and organized tax files including appropriate supporting documentation for tax returns. Prepares clear and concise work papers with definitive conclusions. Prepares meaningful and well-written recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence. Demonstrates technical proficiency in a paperless environment. Exhibits effective communication and listening skills. Actively participates in professional and community organizations. Proactively “champions” an attitude of quality service. Organizes work schedule in a manner that ensures timely and priority-sensitive services to clients.

Requirements Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, tax specialization preferred. CPA certification. At least four years of tax experience in public accounting.
