The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of scheduling best practices, resource & cost loaded scheduling, overall construction project controls as well as the interpersonal skills to be able to work closely with the internal stakeholders of the project team on a daily basis.

The Scheduler will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery and to act as key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added service. • Ability to travel to office / project sites as needed and assess schedule progress.
  • Understand and apply construction industry standard scheduling best practices.
  • Develop and maintain high-level master schedules to manage projects through design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
  • Generate and update detailed construction schedules based on drawing reviews and input from project stakeholders.
  • Review contractor construction schedules for compliance with contract requirements, use of scheduling best practices, progress, and changes.
  • Coordinate schedule activities between various projects and stakeholders.
  • Prepare or review Time Impact Analyses and provide recommendations for impact mitigation.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field of study.
  • Experience in the construction industry, with experience in building construction preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
  • Experience with developing, maintaining, and reviewing project schedules, including experience with cost and resource loading.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting architectural drawings.
  • Experience being in the field during construction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and capacity to develop and maintain relationships with Project Managers, Owners, Contractors, and other project team members.
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel.
