The Forge Process Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all aspects of part maturation from raw material to end use.Develop and implement plans that are in line with the business strategy to further our world class technology portfolioProvide operational engineering support to develop technologies and processes which support the growth curve and cost reduction targetsLeverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace disk forgings; assist with problem solving during manufacturing related investigationOwn relentless RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) for correcting non-conformance in the part families; perform DIVEs (Define, Investigate, Verify, Ensure); implement and monitor corrective actions; monitor and report on the health of a part family; monitoring the non-conformances and how the part 'runs' compared to 'standard' timesLead the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) journey to continuously improve the quality and exceed customer's expectations; develop disk process using statistical methods that meet or exceed the business objective for process control.Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or other closely related technical or physical science disciplineMust be a U.S. Citizen.
