About the job Cybersecurity Area Sales Manager Northeast Region Remote Key Responsibilities:People motivator and managerDrive performance of team to achieve or exceed assigned quotaStrong use of Salesforce and forecasting tools requiredAbility to develop trend data and force directional change as required based on metrics analysisAdopt and employ consistent business processes and timely reporting of outcomesProvide visibility and guidance on the performance and penetration of your assigned regionUnderstand client business goals and define security solutions that support their requirementsFully utilize technical concepts to drive customer interaction (Webinars, Social media, lunch and learns, Demos)Work with the account teams to define security solutions to secure future business for MSI and retire individual quotasTarget new logos and lead your sales teams efforts to penetrate prospect accountsUse MSI tools to incentivize and drive both selling and reporting behaviorsServe as the conduit between prospects, clients, and account teams to communicate essential requirements and product enhancements internallyExpected travel is 50% of the timeSpecific Knowledge & Skills:Seeking a Bachelor's Degree with 4+years experience in Cybersecurity sales OR 8+ years experience in Cybersecurity SalesPrior Sales Management experienceBusiness acumen and understanding of contract types and funding sourcesStrong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplaceAbility to explain complicated concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levelsDemonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniquesStrong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain swift resolutionAccurate forecasting and maintaining excellent Salesforce hygieneManage multiple efforts simultaneously to drive towards regional goalsStrong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions, services, compliance and how they address customer risk exposure and use cases.Strong fundamental understanding of how and why to elevate and evolve customer conversations above single immediate needs, to broader more strategic discussions leveraging consulting servicesPreferred Certifications:CISMCISSPCISACEHSecurity+
