The UHS Corporate Human Resources Department is hiring a Learning and Technology Specialist to supports subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop custom courses and assists in the management and maintenance of the learning management system (LMS). This role will also partner with IS to ensure all required technology and security settings are in place for courses to function properly. Key Responsibilities include: Collaborate with SMEs to complete needs analysis, determine project scope, and recommend best practices to achieve desired results Support technology design for custom courses for the organization utilizing available authoring software and tools per the specifications of the SME Provide timely and thorough response and resolution to all system issues reported by end users Upload educational content provided by third party vendors and others within organization to the LMS and conduct QA testing to ensure functionality Provide SME with course-related reports, maintains a process to ensure courses are reviewed on a regular basis and content remains current for all existing courses in use, and retires outdated courses Maintain a standard course request process which includes eLearning development standards, course templates, and an executive leadership assignment approval process Maintain an online repository for custom course materials and storyboards. Interviews subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify learning goals, provides SMEs with content scope and sequence guidance. Collaborates with SMEs to organize course content, ensures course content remains current for all existing courses in use and outdated courses are retired Provide software training for others within organization who use the same authoring software Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years' experience.
