This is a fast-paced position that will focus on developing new workflows and improving existing processes. This position requires someone that has passion as well as strong skills in the C# and front-end spaces. There will be an emphasis on creating and maintaining a suite of automated software tests for our service team and our quality control teams. Assistance with updating our existing commissioners for multiple products is also expected.

Familiarity with general manufacturing processes would be helpful.

We use YouTrack for managing requirements. For CI/CD we use TeamCity and Octopus Deploy with a heavy reliance on NuGet packages. Source code is hosted in GitHub Enterprise. All are hosted internally.

Goals for this position:
  • Work with software used by manufacturing, service, and R&D.
  • Implement new feature requests and fix bugs in existing logic.
  • Improve application usability / simplify existing workflows.
  • Ensure software aligns with the goals of the requirements.
  • Create tests for both existing and upcoming products.
  • Implement tests for new features and update existing tests to accommodate changes.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary based upon experience

CaptiveAire employees are expected to be independent with very little hand-holding and technical training required. You should be comfortable taking on medium to large projects and/or features and be able to bootstrap them from the ground-up. You should also be comfortable diving into well-entrenched, custom, in-house systems and applications which drive the entire company. We are easy-going, don't have a lot of processes to get in our way, and basically want to deliver top-notch, quality systems and software to run the company.
