The Opportunity: As a logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government systems and know that using sustainment plans and supportability milestonesis critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We're looking for a logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for the DoD. Using your knowledge in sustainment support, you'll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment. As a logistics engineer on our team, you'll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of product support. You'll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with DoD acquisition is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you'll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You'll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 10+ years of experience in DoD sustainment support

Experience with developing lifecycle sustainment plans and supportability milestones

Knowledge of DoD acquisition, maintenance requirements, and organizational functions involved in logistical support

Knowledge of logistical requirements in support of program decision milestones

Ability to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals and identify support requirements, including funding and technical support requirements

Ability to establish and manage deployment plans

TS/SCI clearance

Master's degree in Logistics Management

Nice If You Have: Experience with Air Force weapon systems product support

Knowledge of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS)

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
