Responsibilities:
The Provider Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting physicians across InnovAge. The Physician Recruiter acts as the link between physician practice and potential employee, recruiting high caliber candidates based upon the explicit needs of the physician practice. Fills job openings with qualified physicians and ensure hiring targets are met in a timely and effective manner and in support of organizational goals.
- Develop and implement physician recruitment strategies using traditional and non-traditional resources. Qualify physician candidates by confirming job qualifications MD/DO degree, state licensure, board certifications, Medicare/Medicaid certifications and DEA licensure.
- Source across multiple resources, generate leads, build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates, review candidate resumes, conduct interviews, negotiate and close offers.
- Builds external relationships with targeted organizations.
- Builds and maintains a talent pipeline.
- Represents InnovAge at recruitment events.
- Builds and maintains solid working relationships and provides the highest level of service to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively utilizes in-house applicant tracking and on-boarding systems
- Extends offers of employment to selected candidates verbally and in writing -within the guidelines of InnovAge compensation policy.
- Manages any offer negotiations and coordinates with the physician candidates and Chief Medical Officer
- Develops and manages the physician-recruiting budget and ensures that budget stays within necessary guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with established departmental and company policies and procedures, objectives, and state and federal employment laws and regulations.
REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree in business administration, management or a related field from, and accredited college/university.
- 3+ yrs physician recruitment.
- Must be self-motivated and independent, able to work with a minimum of supervision and to work well with physicians and staff.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office suite of applications.
- Effectively manage a high volume of emails and calls on a daily basis.
PREFERRED
- Masters degree
- 5+ years with physician recruitment
