Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a COBRA Administration Specialist to contribute to the day-to-day operations of benefits administration services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing information, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of issues related to COBRA administration.

Responsibilities
  • Enter participant information accurately into the COBRA Point system, following established office procedures.
  • Process Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files efficiently to ensure seamless data transmission.
  • Input participants' enrollments and changes into the COBRA Point system with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Document all communications with participants, including inquiries and issues they encounter, in a clear and organized manner.
  • Coordinate with brokers and insurance carriers to obtain and relay accurate information regarding plan benefits to participants.
  • Assist in resolving participant inquiries and issues related to plan benefits by providing timely and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant information and adhere to data protection policies and procedures.
  • Continuously update knowledge of COBRA regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and efficiency in administration processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Requirements:
  • College degree in a related field.
  • Experience in COBRA benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
