Job Description

The Data Specialist maintains accurate and confidential school and student data files. The Data Specialist provides relevant reports and analysis for stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Statistics & Analysis, or related field of study AND
  • Three (3) years' experience in data compilation and analysis AND
  • Two (2) years' experience in a virtual school setting, earning a "Meets" or "Exceeds" expectations in all categories at each year-end review OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses
  • Clearance Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission required.
Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, and other pertinent laws regarding K-12 Education as they relate to applicable duties
  • Familiarity with online learning environment
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suite.
  • Knowledge of the SCSC Comprehensive Performance Framework
