Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Channel Marketing, the Manager, Media & Demand Generation is responsible for driving the strategy for demand generation, digital, earned and paid media across the brands of Zurn Elkay. Partners with internal and external media teams to optimize key digital campaigns and establish key performance indicators to measure success and determine opportunities for enhancements. Leads the social media execution and measurement for all Zurn Elkay brands, including international accounts and strategic vision. Drives the digital and social media and content strategies, posting cadence, execution, and performance to align with business goals. Manages campaigns of all sizes, including those tied directly to strategic initiatives with cross-functional teams, including external agencies, to achieve business objectives. Collects and reports out analytics and key insights on a monthly and quarterly basis to key stakeholders. Utilizes insights and data to make decisions and ensure we fully understand the ROIs on our digital media investments (including paid social, display, search, and direct partnerships). It is crucial for this position to stay abreast of the social landscape, platform issues and privacy concerns.

Responsibilities

Drives the demand generation and digital media strategy for all Zurn Elkay brands. Creates the Social Media Strategy & approves execution across Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Directly manages a team of specialists supporting all advertising and media needs of the business. Responsible for making employment decisions for team – hiring, coaching, and developing, performance management. Builds strategy to support the sales team and reps with social media support to promote Zurn Elkay and our trade brands. Manages relationships with direct digital partners, and shares all content needed for direct programs, managing approval processes along the way. Manages day-to-day activities of the digital and social media function including budgeting and planning across all Zurn Elkay brands' owned channels (including international). Works closely with our agency partners to optimize the digital media advertising spend across multiple ad units and platforms to ensure an efficient use of marketing investments. Acts on social crisis concerns and create action plans for the business. Executes social training sessions throughout various departments across all Zurn Elkay locations and for the executive leadership team. Performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. Monitors and reports competitor activity and relevant industry trends, events, and opportunities to appropriate teams. Manages digital media budget of ($3 million & growing) across all digital platforms and accounts to grow brand awareness, generate qualified leads and increase sales conversions as aligned with the strategic priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Arts, or Marketing required. 8+ years’ experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media and/or brand engagement, preferably for a national or global brand. Experience in Lead Generation and both B2B and B2C. 2+ years’ experience managing direct reports required. User and administrative experience and keen understanding of all major social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Houzz and Pinterest. Awareness of relevant online trends and a natural social personality are also a must. Provide extensive knowledge of trends and emerging platforms. Experience in using Facebook, Google Analytics, and the Google Business Dashboard. Intermediate level and demonstrated proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Excellent copy writing and editing skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Superior time management and organizational skills. Critical thinker who can multi-task through multiple applications while understanding brand strategies and helping the team to achieve brand objectives. Detail oriented with an eye for photography and design. Collaborates to win and demonstrates ability to take the lead and guide others when required (e.g., content creation/development, editing, managing online reputation). Travel to media events. (
