Position Summary OPERATIONS SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE II With moderate supervision, administers all back office functions for Legal Services including but not limited to: garnishments, subpoenas, levies, bankruptcy notifications, death claims, power of attorney notifications, letters of administration and CUNA insurance claim filings. Establishes or maintains appropriate files and records in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines. Daily review of reports. Ensures the established operating schedules are met. Assist members and staff with Legal Service inquires. Position requires periodic communications with members and counsel, sometimes complex or difficult nature. Interaction with credit union counsel as needed for advice. May have to represent MECU in court as dictated by legal system. A basic understanding of specific legal terminology and specific formatting is required. Ability to perform the functions of Operations Support Representative I. Diploma Experience OSR II – Two (2) years of Financial Institution – Required OSR II – Two (2) years of Legal Services – Required OSR II – One (1) year of Credit Union Systems – Required OSR II – One (1) year of Computer/PC – Required OSR III – Three (3) years of Financial Institution – Required OSR III – Three (3) years of Legal Related Services – Required OSR III – Three (3) years of Credit Union Systems – Required OSR III – Three (3) years of Computer/PC – Required OSR III – Three (3) years of Financial Institution – Required Experience by attending seminars/webinar legal issues Requirements

Qualifications and/or Additional Functions Ensures work is done correctly, meet deadlines. Takes action in order to solve problems so work can be completed in a timely manner. Stays open to and learns from feedback. Uses data and facts in order to make day-to-day decisions and involves others as needed. Uses policies and procedures to make good decisions. Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft office suite and core system functions. Knowledge of banking regulations preferred. Additional Comments

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position, the successful candidate is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and stoop or kneel. Must regularly lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pound objects. Specific vision characteristics required by this position include close vision, adjust focus, and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
