What You'll Do * Identify accurate estimates of rebar material, equipment, and labor for a project * Evaluate complex project requirements and suggest potential value engineering ideas * Submit complete proposals to clients in a timely manner which meets both the company and clients requirements * Follow up with clients to ensure our proposals meet their expectations while attempting to gather the necessary information to submit the final proposal * Successfully negotiate contracts * Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Area * Effectively work with other CMC functions to ensure outstanding customer service * Ensure a smooth transition of projects to team members * Ability to lead and motivate the sales team and drive accountability and engagement What You'll Need * General knowledge of estimating, detailing and project management * Ability to read blueprints and contracts * Business / financial acumen * Proficient in MS Office Suite * Excellent Communication (written and verbal) * Ability to articulate the financial drivers of clients * Initiative and drive in pursuing customers and building long term working relationships * Strong negotiation skills * Meet critical deadlines and handle changing priorities * Scheduling/Planning * Problem solving and time management skills * Follow through/quick to respond * Experience with Commercial, Retail, Heavy Civil & Bridge projects * Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% on a regular basis, including over night stays * Abililty to manage and lead a team Your Education * Bachelor's degree in one of the following area: Construction Management, Structural Engineering, Business Administration and/or minimum 5 years in the reinforcing steel/construction industry We are Commercial Metals Company, a Fortune 500 company with a family feel that's already part of your life.
