Deposit Support Services Associate- Damariscotta

Associates in the Deposit Support Services Department will perform a variety of support transactions related to deposit products, electronic banking products and services.Duties:Provide support to all bank staff on deposit and electronic banking products and servicesWork all types of Exception Item Processing:Process un-posted deposit itemsProcess overdraft decisions; process returns and remit OD noticesReview and process Stop payment and Hold suspectsProcess transactions:Process Fed in-clearing filesProcess daily outgoing ACH FilePost IRA and HSA transactionsInput new IRAs into systemMake deposit correctionsReconcile and remit 3rd party services such as IOLTA and RAHFProcess ACH and Debit Card disputesVerify and mail CD interest checksPerform account and CIF maintenance:Statement maintenance, including returned mailSet up and maintain internal and external AFTsPerform deposit account maintenanceProcess renewals of certificates of deposits and IRA'sSet up and maintain investment CDs such as Express DataMonitor items for fraud and compliance with regulations. Work with government agencies:Respond to check reclamation notices, court orders, DHS or tax levies, check collections or any request for information or instructions regarding deposit accountsProperly return items due to forgery or alterationTrack excess withdrawals on money market accounts according to Regulation D requirementso Work with CAMS, YellowHammer, RSA and other related system to manage all fraud monitoring and reportingInvestigating and responding to suspected or confirmed debit card compromises, including card reissues when needed.Remit State and Federal withholding on a weekly basisTrack Overdraft Privilege usagePerform all supporting tasks for electronic banking products, ATMs, and Debit CardsSet up and/or perform maintenance on OLB and Debit card records including Bill Pay, iStatements, NetTeller, iTalk, etc.Visa reporting and digital wallet provisioning notificationsMonitor CPS portal and manage ATM fleetOLB and iStatement exception processingOLB, iTalk and ATM report reviewMonitor and approve mobile and image ATM DepositsPerform daily balancing and monthly reconciliation of bank DDA and GL accountsPerform periodic remittance of funds to state or federal governmentState and Federal withholdingAssist with system upgrades and data validationPerform other duties as may be requested Requirements High school degree or equivalent. Knowledge of banking financial systems, Microsoft Office suite, internet/intranet sites and software Experience in other areas of financial services helpful. Must have strong customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written). Proven problem solving ability Must be able to work with little or no direct supervision. Proven ability in personal time management is important.Must have good organizational skills.
