Responsibilities:Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the team's success and professional growth.Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety.Transforms the business using lean methodologiesCoordinates maintenance activities at the site addressing preventative maintenance, capital projects, upgrades/updates and custodial staffCollaborates closely with cross-functional teams including production, design engineering and quality assurance to drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processesIdentifies opportunities for automation and integration of new technologies to streamline production processes and increase productivityLeads root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address manufacturing issues and ensure compliance with our quality policy and regulatory standardsDevelops and manages budgets, forecasts and resource allocation for manufacturing engineering projectsDrives a culture of safety, quality and excellence throughout the manufacturing engineering team and across the organizationDevelops and maintains relationships with 3rd party contracted resourcesCommunicates effectively with all levels of the companyQualifications:Minimum of 7 years Manufacturing experienceMinimum of 3 years Manufacturing Engineering and Lean Management experience Bachelors Degree in Engineering; post-graduate degree is a plusExperience working on issues of diverse scope, where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trendsAbility to effectively lead and manage people, including setting expectations, assessing performance, providing feedback, delegating tasks, having difficult conversations, and engaging and developing employeesExperience successfully deploying capital improvements, such as automation from conceptualization to implementationMaintains confidentiality of proprietary informationAbility to maintain a professional atmosphere in a fast-paced environment with numerous interactions and interruptionsExperience with Injection molded plastics is a plusExperience with electronic components is a plus (i.e.; motors, wire harnesses, printed circuit boards)Experience with Google Suite is nice to haveCAD experience is a plusA high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to motivate othersAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with Team Members and colleaguesCompensation: $180,000.00 per year Our StoryAt Tree Top Staffing, we take pride in helping job seekers find their ideal role and employers find the right candidate for their company.Our organization is instantiated by experienced professionals providing full service employment solutions including: contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements within multiple lines of business.Our MissionWe adhere to a set of 4 defining principles encapsulating:ServitudeAccountabilityIntegrityDisciplineIf you make a promise, keep it, as your actions prove your greatness.
