Manufacturing Engineer Job DescriptionPosition Summary: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing production efficiency and quality within the facility. Under the guidance of the Engineering Manager or senior engineers, you'll contribute to process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact the design, machinery, and processes used to create the products.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a 4-year Technical field OR-Meets the requirements of an Associate Engineer-Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentEssential Responsibilities:Process Development and Improvement:Lead small-scale process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.Troubleshoot existing processes effectively.Identify and propose improvement projects.Technical Expertise:Demonstrate a general understanding of cable electrical performance.Gain an intimate knowledge of at least one manufacturing process specific to our organization.Documentation and Training:Compile standardized documents and provide training on them.Coordinate and conduct trials in alignment with our Quality System.Equipment Qualification and Evaluation:Design and execute trials to qualify and evaluate equipment.Assist in maintaining process sheets and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Collaboration and Professional Skills:Collaborate across departments.Maintain a positive attitude and embody excellent customer service.Treat colleagues with respect.Demonstrate initiative, ingenuity, and effective problem-solving techniques.Adapt to changing priorities efficiently.General Description of Standard Work:-Troubleshooting Processes: 45% addressing manufacturing needs and resolve process-related issues.-Process Documentation:15% of your time maintaining process sheets and recipes.-BOM Management:15% to maintaining BOMs and product builds.-Trials and Quality Assurance: 10% coordinating and conducting trials.-Team Support: Assist other engineers with projects, accounting for 10% of your workload.-Improvement Audits:5% evaluating and enhancing existing processes.Salary:New Graduates/entry level experience: $75K-$85K1-3 years of experience: $85K-$100KRelocation: Client will provde up to $10K in relocation assistance
