What will I be doing?

As a Tournament/Events Intern, you are offered hands-on working expertise in the event planning of hospitality in various roles and receives experience with in the Global Sports and Entertainment department.

This role will start in December 2024 and end in February 2025.

You will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Participates in various roles and functions within the Global Sports and Entertainment department.
  • Responsible for learning and performing specific functions of the assigned department.
  • Explores, learns, and promotes the Company culture.
  • Participates in hands-on learning while completing actual position duties in the Sports and Entertainment department.
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and optimally adapt to changes.
  • Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
  • Ability to interpret and build spreadsheets.
  • Able to use good judgment; work independently, with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Must be of legal age to sell alcohol.
  • Basic math skills
  • Create ticket orders in Universe for executive team members
  • Assist with the buildout execution of the concert venue at Lake Nona Town Center
  • Build credential boxes for the sponsors, celebrities, and executive team members

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Driver's License
  • 0-1 year related experience
