Event Logistics Specialist

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop effective logistics plans to optimize equipment utilization across various corporate events and tours.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Services Team and Account Executives to identify strategies for managing high-demand inventory and addressing shortages.
  • Source cross-rentals from third-party vendors, negotiate pricing, and secure necessary equipment.
  • Utilize the company's inventory tracking system to generate equipment transfers, purchase orders, and support orders, ensuring efficient equipment movement and warehouse tasks.
  • Provide timely support and solutions to internal clients for equipment-related needs, including show emergencies and equipment shortages.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to cross-rentals, including purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain data integrity by identifying items and packages requiring updates.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and equipment tracking software.
