Job Summary:
Under the Operations Director, this position will be responsible for ensuring that Medicaid beneficiaries are successfully enrolled in the MO DSS Health Home. They will track OCHs Health Home patients ER utilization daily and follow patients Medicaid eligibility/coverage. This position will serve as a point of contact for patients enrolled in the Health Home as well as assist self-pay patients in obtaining Medicaid coverage. They will work cooperatively with a patients care team to maximize outcomes. Has the ability to perform duties consistent with Standards of Practice, goals and philosophy of Ozarks Community Hospital and the Employee Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (2) years medical office experience preferred.
Previous experience with Medicaid coverage preferred.
Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience preferred.
