Summary of essential job functions Education: Ensure implementation and compliance with all Early Head Start (EHS), Quality Preschool Initiative (QPI), California State Preschool Program (CSPP), and General Child Care and Development (CCTR) education requirements. Support and train teachers on all policies and procedures relating to program compliance. Monitor and ensure a high quality of delivery for all areas listed below and ensure a Tier 5 QRIS ratings at your program site. Daily Operations:

Provide support, assistance and training to all teaching staff and Assistant Directors. Address all levels of concerns from staff and families and ensure compliance with rules and regulations in relation to the field of Early Childhood Education. Ensure effective daily operations and oversight including staffing and maintaining classroom ratios. Responsible for overseeing the scheduling of staff in accordance with QPI, HS, CSPP, EHS and licensing requirements and site needs & maintaining a balanced staffing budget per assigned payroll budget. Community Cares Licensing Compliance (complaint site visits, unusual incident reports, annual visits) CPS Reporting Prepare and lead site VIP tours. Overall QPI, EHS/HS, CSPP, CCTR Title 22 & Title 5 program responsibility and compliance monitoring, Care Connect, ChildPlus, Building Code, Facility, Health Department Reporting for outbreaks, Ouch Report Process, Classroom ratios. Required postings and bulleting boards: CCL, Business Postings, Emergency Postings, State Postings. Implement & Oversee employee interactions and corrective measures, Engage in constant communication with staff, address staff concerns, conflict resolution, plan of corrections, etc. Fiscal monitoring and oversite of center payroll/enrollment/office supplies/site supplies. Supervises all on-site staff and ensure professionalism, monitor CP Personnel Policies and Procedures (Dress Codes, Cell Phones, House Keeping, etc.) Train and provide technical assistance to staff and parents. Facilities oversight - meeting health and safety as well as quality standards for all programs. Ensure monthly Health and Safety monitoring is completed and uploaded, and corrective actions are followed up on in a timely manner. Caring Series implementation: Classroom, Center, Playground, Bathroom, and additional components. Ensure all repair requests are added to ZOHO in a timely manner. Monitor and track all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are in place, current, and actively monitored including transportation, daily H&S inspections, Weekly H&S inspections, and Monthly H&S inspections. Manage all aspects of employee relations including performance reviews and mentoring. Ensure compliance and implementation with all agency policies and procedures. Engage in constant communication with Parents/Families, greet parents & guests, address concerns, answer questions, etc. Maintain staffing to ensure compliance and ratios: assist with hiring process and classroom assignments. Coordinate and facilitate monthly staff meetings to include training and technical assistance. Effectively onboarding and training new staff. Paylocity input, monitoring, payroll completions and submittal. Overtime, time off requests, FMLA, call outs tracking and submittal. Org Chart updates as needed and submittal with Payroll. Worker’s Compensation processes and submittal. Ensure Professional Development Pathways are complete and ensure implementation of career planning - Professional Development Plan (PD Plan) for staff, Annual Reviews, Child Development Permits. Records and systems management: Monitoring for accurate update of records on site including, but not limited to, enrollment, attendance, meal counts, daily logs, curriculum, education file created/updated, site specific calendar, CareConnect, ChildPlus, CP, HS, CSPP, CCTR, QPI packets, CACFP paperwork, etc. Support Effective onboarding new students and families: Ensure tours are conducted properly. Provide family with an effective introduction to the teacher. Prepare teacher for new children prior to their arrival on day 1.
