Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Lathrop / 100% Onsite

Pay Range: $52-62/hr.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Support and manage complex systems and networks (PCs, VDI, mobile devices, switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).
    • Analyze, plan, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, SANs, and NAS.
    • Perform network and system troubleshooting and enhance security measures.
    • Provide technical assistance, training, and support to users.
    • Oversee network operations, software maintenance, and special IT projects.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for network and server configurations.
    • Ensure compliance with security policies and handle disaster recovery planning.
  • Levels:
    • Engineer I: Entry-level, supports GIS systems, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
    • Engineer II: Journey-level, performs complex system analysis, manages software installations, and oversees vendor interactions.
    • Engineer III: Advanced-level, leads major projects, manages network security, performs in-depth troubleshooting, and ensures system reliability and compliance.
  • Qualifications:
    • Engineer I: Three years of relevant experience, Associates degree in a related field, preferred CompTIA A+ certification.
    • Engineer II: Four years of experience, including project lead roles, Associates degree or equivalent experience.
    • Engineer III: Extensive experience with advanced technical and project management skills.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Involves physical tasks like installing and repairing hardware, working in various environments, and may require vehicle use.

The role involves analyzing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems, including LANs, WANs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
